Abdul Majid Hakeem Elahi, representative of Iran's Supreme Leader, accused the US of seeking control over Iran's oil and natural resources amid rising tensions between the two countries. Speaking in Patna, he said Iran wants peace but will defend itself against any military action. He also alleged that Washington is not serious about peace and is pursuing its own economic interests in the region.
