Taylor Swift's music unexpectedly 'disappeared' from Trump's video.

Hanoi [Vietnam], August 10: According to Reuters, Donald Trump's social media accounts and the White House have removed numerous songs by singer Taylor Swift after using them as background music for a long time.
A series of videos posted on social media accounts belonging to both the White House and Donald Trump's campaign have removed Taylor Swift 's songs . This move comes shortly after two of the singer's songs were again used as background music by Trump's campaign this past week.
According to Reuters, neither Taylor Swift's representatives nor the White House have issued an official comment on the matter.
Lately, Taylor Swift has rarely mentioned Trump. However, their relationship has never been smooth. In the 2024 election, the singer publicly endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Furthermore, in 2020, she frankly stated on social media that Trump "knows perfectly well that the public doesn't want him as president."
For his part, Trump has also repeatedly criticized the "Cruel Summer " singer . After hearing that she supported Harris, he didn't hesitate to write on social media: "I hate Taylor Swift!". Last year, he added another status update: "Has anyone noticed that since I said 'I hate Taylor Swift,' she's lost all her charm?"
It's not just Taylor Swift; a host of other famous artists like Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande have also spoken out, urging Trump's side to stop using their music for political purposes.
According to Reuters, just last week, the TikTok channel belonging to Trump's campaign included two Taylor Swift songs in a video. One song had its lyrics altered and was posted with the caption: "Red (Donald Trump's version)." This caption combined the titles of the singer's hit songs to refer to the situation at the southern border and to criticisms of the Biden-Harris administration.
Earlier in June, the channel also used the singer's new song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," to incorporate into a video showing Trump interacting with children at the White House, dancing at a UFC event, etc. The video was accompanied by the caption: "No one loves the country and people of America more than President Donald J. Trump."
This is the third time in recent months that the Trump administration or its team has used music by the Grammy-winning artist. According to Reuters, in April, the White House shared a clip of the Artemis II crew meeting with Trump set to the music of her song " High Infidelity ." Further back, in November of last year, another White House TikTok video also featured her song "The Fate of Ophelia ."
The video from last November caused a public uproar. At the time, a White House spokesperson frankly told reporters that they intentionally made the clip that way because they knew the media "would make a big fuss about it."
Trump's communications team is known for its keen social media presence. According to Reuters, they have repeatedly superimposed popular music onto images related to the immigration crackdown, military campaigns, or the arrest of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to attract public attention.
